Refund Policy

Digital kits deliver instant source access. Please read before you buy.

Last updated: June 21, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for digital SaaS starter kits and boilerplates sold on Twenty ("Twenty," "we," "us," or "our"). It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please read it before you complete a purchase.

1. Summary

All sales are final. Twenty does not offer refunds for change of mind, compatibility issues discovered after purchase, or because you no longer need the kit. When you buy a product on Twenty, you receive immediate access to the full source code and related delivery materials. That instant access is the product you paid for.

2. Why we do not offer refunds

Every listing on Twenty is a digital good: production-ready SaaS boilerplate, starter kits, and related source files. Unlike physical goods, there is no practical way to "return" software once you have downloaded or accessed it.

  • Checkout grants immediate access to the kit archive and setup instructions in your buyer library.
  • You can download the full source code right after payment.
  • Once delivered, the economic value of the purchase has been provided in full.
  • We cannot verify whether copies were kept, forked, or deployed after a refund request.

For these reasons, we treat completed purchases as non-refundable except in the limited situations described below.

3. What you receive at checkout

Before you pay, review the product page carefully: description, tech stack, screenshots, setup difficulty, and setup instructions preview. After payment you receive:

  • A personal license to use the purchased kit as described on the product page and in our Terms.
  • Download access to the kit archive (ZIP or equivalent) from Dashboard → Library.
  • The seller's setup instructions and any updates the seller publishes for kits you own.

You are responsible for confirming the kit matches your stack, hosting plans, and experience level before checkout. We do not refund purchases because a kit uses a framework you dislike, requires dependencies you did not expect, or needs customization work on your side.

4. Limited exceptions

We may, at our sole discretion or as required by applicable law, resolve the following issues without treating them as ordinary refunds:

4.1 Duplicate or erroneous charges

If you were charged twice for the same order, charged the wrong amount due to a platform error, or billed after a failed checkout, contact Support with your receipt and account email. We will investigate with our payment provider, Paddle.

4.2 Failure to deliver access

If payment succeeded but you cannot access the purchased kit in your library due to a Twenty-side delivery failure, contact Support promptly. We will work to restore access. This is a delivery fix, not a routine refund for buyer's remorse.

4.3 Material misrepresentation

If a listing was materially misdescribed in a way that a reasonable buyer could not have known before purchase (for example, the delivered archive is empty, unrelated to the listing, or missing core components advertised on the product page), contact Support with specifics, screenshots, and error logs. We may mediate with the seller or take moderation action. Approval of any remedy is case by case and does not create a general right to refunds.

4.4 What we do not refund

Examples of situations that are not eligible for refunds include:

  • You changed your mind after downloading the kit.
  • The kit works as described but does not fit your project.
  • You lack the skills or time to set up the boilerplate.
  • Your hosting provider, database, or third-party API costs more than expected.
  • You purchased the wrong kit by mistake but already accessed the download.
  • Minor bugs or documentation gaps that do not make the kit unusable.

5. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer without contacting us first, we may suspend your account and revoke access to purchased kits while the dispute is investigated. We may share transaction records, delivery timestamps, and download logs with Paddle and payment networks to demonstrate that digital goods were delivered.

Please email Support before initiating a chargeback so we can help with legitimate delivery or billing problems.

6. EU & UK consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have statutory rights regarding distance contracts, including a 14-day withdrawal period for certain online purchases. For digital content that is delivered immediately, those rights may not apply when you expressly agree at checkout that delivery begins right away and you acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once access is granted.

Checkout disclosures and Paddle's buyer policies may apply where they differ from this summary. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under mandatory local law.

7. Contact us

For billing issues, delivery problems, or questions about this policy, reach out through Support. Include your account email, product name, order date, and a clear description of the problem. We typically respond within several business days.
